
Dr. Chaofeng Ye received his Ph.D. degree from Michigan State University, USA. His primary research interests include electromagnetic sensing, nondestructive testing, weak magnetic field measurement, and signal/image processing. In recent years, he has led several major research projects, including the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a Key Program of the NSFC Joint Fund for Enterprise Innovation and Development, the Instrumentation Special Program of the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan, and the Shanghai Explorer Program. He has established long-term collaborations with a number of leading central state-owned enterprises and high-tech private companies.
His entrepreneurial project has received funding support from the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center and the Shanghai Baoshan District Government.
Dr. Ye has been actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including Circuit Theory and Electromagnetic Sensing and Testing. He has supervised and graduated four Ph.D. students and more than ten master’s students.
He has received multiple honors and awards, including Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Universities (Eastern Scholar), Pujiang Talent Program, Excellent Teacher of ShanghaiTech University, Outstanding College Mentor of ShanghaiTech University, First Prize in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ShanghaiTech University, First Prize in the COMAC Large Aircraft Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and a Teaching Achievement Award from Tsinghua University.
