Dr. Jingya Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. She received the B.Sc. degree from the Swinburne University of Technology in 2012 and the PhD degree from the Queen Mary University of London in 2018. After that, she was a Postdoc Researcher at the University of Sydney. She joined ShanghaiTech as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Nov 2020. Her research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Particularly, her current research focuses on human centered visual perception, inference and decision. Her work has been published on several top journals and conferences, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, AI, etc. She achieved CVPR Doctoral Consortium Award and one of her work has been selected as 2018 Best of CVPR Paper by Computer Vision News Magazine.
