王春东目前任上海科技大学助理教授、研究员、博士生导师,信息学院系统与安全中心主任,上海创芯学院双聘导师。2008年毕业于西安交通大学计算机科学与技术系,获得学士学位。随后赴新加坡国立大学计算机学院攻读博士学位,于2013年毕业。王春东先后在新加坡数据存储研究院和新加坡科技设计大学工作。他已发表同行评审论文和专利50余篇(项),其中CCF A类文章20篇、B类18篇,包括IEEE TC, IEEE TDSC, ACM TOS, ACM TECS, USENIX ATC, USENIX FAST, USENIX Security, HPDC, DAC, SC等。王春东的研究方向有计算机存储、体系结构和数据安全与隐私等。

王春东长期担任多个重要学术期刊和会议的专家审稿人,如IEEE  Transactions on Computers (TC), IEEE Transactions on Computer Aided  Design of Integrated Circuits & Systems (TCAD), IEEE Transactions on  Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge  and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I  (TCAS-I), ACM Transactions on Storage, ACM Transactions on Embedded  Computing Systems (TECS), ACM Transactions on Design Automation of  Electronic Systems (TODAES), Design Automation Conference (DAC), International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD), Design, Automation and Test in Europe Conference (DATE)等。

王春东近年来研究如何重塑和优化计算机系统。他还在体系结构安全、NoSQL数据库、分布式系统、物联网安全、无人驾驶汽车安全等方面有过研究经历。

从2020年6月到校报到至今(2026年7月),王春东入选了上海高校特聘教授(东方学者)岗位计划、上海市海外高层次人才计划等。他还曾获得HPDC 2026 (中国计算机学会CCF推荐A类会议)最佳论文奖,2021年度上海科技大学信息学院优秀导师组,上海科技大学优秀书院导师(2022年度、2023年度、2024年度、2025年度),上海科技大学优秀教师(2023年度、2024年度),上科大本科生优秀毕业设计指导老师(2022年度、2023年度、2024年度)等荣誉。课题组多位同学先后获得了博士研究生、硕士研究生国家奖学金,上海市优秀毕业生,上海市计算机学会优秀博士毕业论文提名奖,上海科技大学校长奖,上海科技大学优秀毕业生,上海科技大学三好学生、优秀学生,上科大信息学院优秀助教等众多荣誉(由于数量较多,不一一列举)。
