Dr. Shi Ye is currently an Assistant Professor, Principal Investigator, and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University, where he leads the YesAI Lab (Trustworthy & General AI Lab). The lab focuses on developing controllable, robust, efficient, and safe AI algorithms. His recent research interests include:

  • Generative models (e.g.,Diffusion/Flow Matching, Diffusion RL, Diffusion policies)

  • Embodied AI and humanoid robotics

  • Multimodal pretraining and large-scale models

In the past two years, under his leadership, YesAI Lab has published 30+ papers in top-tier conferences and journals (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, TNNLS, etc.) with an acceptance rate of over 80% (first submission). For details, visit: https://shiye21.github.io

Dr. Shi Ye has been selected for the Shanghai Overseas Leading Talent Program, the Shanghai Yangfan Program, and has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He received the 2018 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad, the IEEE ICCSCE 2016 Best Paper Award, and the ICLR 2025 Generative Theory Workshop Outstanding Paper Award.

He serves as an Area Chair for NeurIPS 2025 and is organizing the ICCV 2025 Workshop on Human-AI Interaction and Collaboration.
