Xin Liu is an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Science and Technology of ShanghaiTech University. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University in 2019, the Master's degree in Signal and Information Processing at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014, and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Hunan University in 2011. His research lies broadly in stochastic modeling, analysis and optimization, safe and intelligent decision-making, and reinforcement learning.
