Dr. Quan Li received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2019. He has worked at WeBank AI Group as a senior researcher and has been a visiting research fellow of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a senior researcher of NetEase Games. His research interests lie in artificial intelligence, big data visualization, and visual analysis, interpretable machine learning, data science, data storytelling, human-computer interaction (HCI), and computational social sciences. He carries out the wide application and landing of the related technologies in financial risk control, smart retail, smart cities, social networks, online games, social sciences, and other fields. During his Ph.D., he won the honors of Ph.D. Fellowship and Top RPG (Research Post-Graduate) at HKUST. He is a member of the Special Committee on Visualization and Visual Analytics of the Chinese Society of Graphics and Graphics, a committee member of IEEE VIS Paper Program, and reviewer of top academic conference journals such as IEEE VIS, EuroVis, PacificVis, ChinaVis, ACM CHI/CSCW, and TVCG. His academic achievements have been published in top journals and conferences on visualization and human-computer interaction such as IEEE VIS, EuroVis, IEEE PacificVis, ACM CHI, ACM DIS, CGF, TVCG, etc.
