Recently, Professor Ha Yajun from SIST was appointed by IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II:Express Briefs, with a two-year term starting from January 2022. Prof. Ha is the first scholar from Mainland China to be appointed as this journal’s Editor-in-Chief since its founding in 1943.
Prof. Ha joined SIST as a fulltime professor in January, 2017. He is currently the Director of the Post-Moore Microelectronics Integrated Circuit Center of SIST, Director of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Energy Efficient and Custom AI IC. Before this, he was a Scientist and Director at the I2R-BYD Joint Lab of the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore.
His research interests include reconfigurable computing, ultra-low power digital circuits and systems, embedded system architecture and design tools for applications in robots, smart vehicles and intelligent systems. He has published more than 120 internationally peer-reviewed journal/conference papers on these topics.
