Abstract:

In the era of big data, security issues and privacy protection become vital for human beings. System vulnerabilities can lead to several issues, such as privacy leaks, loss of data or money. Understanding security issues and knowing how to protect us from these attacks is essential. This talk reviews the development of system security and introduces the status of system security. It also covers 5 case studies to help students understand what is system security and how to protect them. A quick review of system and security center (SSC) is provided for students.
