Abstract:
This talk will concern augmented reality and the continuum between the physical and the simulated, with a look back at earlier prototypes and forward to new ways to interact and scale up to large social and collaborative audiences. Augmented reality requires a combination of advancements in both rendering and computer vision disciplines and related works will be presented. Some of the work was supported by the European Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 642841 called, DISTRO: Distributed 3D Object Design and Customization.
