BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Yuyao ZHANG is an assistant professor, PI (Tenure-track) in ShanghaiTech University, China. She received her B.E. degree from Harbin Engineering University in 2007, Master degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2010, and received her Ph.D. degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA-LYON) in 2014. From March 2014 to June 2016, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Duke University Brain Imaging and Analysis Center (BIAC), USA. From July 2016 to August 2018, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the University of California Berkeley (UCB) Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) department, USA. Her research interests include medical image processing and analysis using machine learning methods, and now she is focusing on the studies for reconstrcting and understanding fetus and infant brain development and neuro-degenerative disease using MR image. She has published more than 30 papers. Most of her research outcomes have been published at the most prestigious international conferences and journals, including MICCAI, IJCAI, IEEE TMI, Neuroimage, Human Brain Mapping, Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, etc.
