Chundong Wang graduated with the Bachelor’s degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2008. He pursued postgraduate study in National University of Singapore and received the doctoral degree in 2013. Then he worked in the defunct Data Storage Institute, A*STAR, and Singapore University of Technology and Design. Currently he works as a tenure-track assistant processor (PI) in SIST, ShanghaiTech University.
Chundong has published more than 30 peer-reviewed research papers and one US patent. He is also an expert reviewer for multiple prestigious journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC), IEEE Transactions on Computer Aided Design of Integrated Circuits & Systems (TCAD), IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I (TCAS-I), ACM Transactions on Storage, ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems (TECS), ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (TODAES), Design Automation Conference (DAC), etc.
Recently Chundong Wang mainly works on how to make the best of non-volatile memory to revolutionize and optimize computer systems. He has also studied research topics including secure architecture, NoSQL database, IoT security, and security for autonomous vehicles.
