BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Fenghan Lin received the B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from Xidian University in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and the Ph.D degree from National University of Singapore in 2019, all in Electrical Engineering. He is currently an assistant professor in the School of Information Science and Technology (SIST), ShanghaiTech University.

Dr. Fenghan Lin is a Senior Member of the IEEE and serves as a member of the IEEE APS Education Committee. He also serves as a regular reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Antennas Propagation and IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory Techniques, and as a guest-editor for IEEE Open Journal on Antennas and Propagation. He is a session chair for EuCAP 2021 and was a TPC member of the EuCAP 2020. He received important awards, including the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad (2018), NUS President’s Graduate Fellowship, 2017 CST University Publication Award, 2018 IEEE Singapore AP/MTT Joint Chapter Best Student Paper Award (twice), 2015 IEEE APCAP Student Paper Award etc. He received grants from NSFC and Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality.

He is a lecturer of two courses, including Electromagnetics (undergraduate) and Antenna Theory and Design (Postgraduate).
