The lab is jointly initiated by ShanghaiTech and Shanghai United Imaging Intelligence Healthcare Co., Ltd. and aims to conduct research related to machine learning and medical AI by making full use of the research strengths and environment of ShanghaiTech, and the expertise of Shanghai United Imaging Intelligence Healthcare Co., Ltd. in industry. The lab would become an important platform for conducting cutting-edge research and talents training of both sides, as well as a well-known platform for linking production, teaching, and research.
