      2018 ShanghaiTech Workshop on Information, Learning and Decision (SWILD 2018) will be held in Shanghai, on ShanghaiTech University campus, from June 30 to July 1, 2018.

      The workshop provides an opportunity for both researchers and practitioners in decision-making systems, networking,information theory, signal processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, optimization and statistics to present their results.

 The featured topics include, but are notlimited to, the following:

 Learning perspective for decision-makingsystems;

 Information-theoretical perspective on learningand decision;

 Optimization and game-theory perspective onlearning and decision;

 Convergence of Communication, Control andComputing.

     The speakers of SWILD 2018 are world-class experts in information, learning and decision. The audience will mostly beyoung faculty members, post-doctoral researchers, graduate students, and final year undergraduate students in related fields from China and the Asian Pacificregion.
