BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Xiaopei Liu is an assistant professor, PI at the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University. He eceived Ph.D. degree on computer science and engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and later did postdoctoral research as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

His research interests are multidisciplinary on the areas of computer graphics, fluid dynamics, scientific visualization, and parallel computing. He have been intensively working with researchers on fluid dynamics and physics for such research. In addition, He have been interested in image analysis/synthesis techniques with a focus on illumination and texture analysis. He is also doing system and research work on the design and implementation of small unmanned aerial vehicles (S-UAV).
