BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hao Chen received his Ph.D.at the Computer Science Division at the University of California, Berkeley in 2004.  Since then, he has been on the faculty of the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Davis.  He won the National Science Foundation CAREER award in 2007, and UC Davis College of Engineering Faculty Award in 2010.  His research has been featured in both print and broadcast media, such as the New York Times, the Sacramento Bee, and the Capitol Public Radio.  He co-founded and chaired the IEEE Mobile Security Technologies in 2012.
