Seminar Topic: Antenna Technologies and Future Development Trend for Mobile Device Applications

Speaker: Prof. Guangli Yang
Time: Dec. 12, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Venue:  Room 1A-200, SIST Building

Abstract:
In the past 30 years, the wireless technology has been developed from 2G, 3G, 4G and going forward for 5G with faster speed data and voice communication. Wireless terminal device like cellular phone becomes very important for people’s daily life. However, designing antenna and RF circuit for cellular phone is not easy, it means multiband support, high efficiency, low radiation to human body, high isolation between LTE, WiFi, GPS antennas and low correlation coefficient for MIMO antenna system. In this talk, the speaker will share 20 years terminal design experience to introduce the antenna evolution history, state-of-art technologies, future development trend and current research activities at Shanghai University.

Biography:
