Wiretap channel model is known as a model with eavesdropper. To apply this model, we need to identify the channel to eavesdropper. In this talk, we review existing results of wiretap channel model. We discuss how to identify the channel to eavesdropper in the case of satellite communication. Further, we consider the case with relay communication via satellite communication.

Prof Hayashi is currently a Professor at Nagoya University. He received the PhD in Mathematics from Kyoto University. His research interests are mainly Quantum Information, Shannon Theory, and Mathematical Statistics. He received the 2011 IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award.
